Work in progress: Thesis (Swatches + Wool)

Considering symbolism, emotions and how to condense 7000 words into two without further conversation.
Colour is one of the ways I'm trying to wrap my head around it all (literally).
Abstracting, creating, destroying are a few of my favourite things so in case you were wondering why I have been asking a lot about colours lately that is why.
Knitted bows, bracelets and necklaces are a way of me surveying colour choice of people and what it represents to them on an aesthetic, emotional, symbolic level then considering what role they play in my life and how it shapes my perception.

Grad show work in progress: Spinning Wool.

Here is some wool I've started spinning for my grad show work as I'm generally over attached to my work as it is I've even started spinning some of my hair into it,my best friend let me test it out by giving me his hair after cutting it off.
Thanks for being a legend!

Armidale. (Mini road trip 2)

Ideally, it was said one road trip a year was essential to survive this lifestyle.
When your hobbies are your jobs most of the time it's hard to distinguish when you actually get a break, In most circumstances you don't.
It is increasingly common for me to spend sometimes up to 6-  8 hours in transit in a round trip from work to home.
It's different to just leave for the sake of curiosity. .
We picked up an amazing spinning wheel from Armidale,
The most money was spent in an adorable 2nd hand book store.
I tried to wear the hat of a conversationalist, there was talk of Nirvana, Lana Del Rey and what I would do now, if I knew what I did 'then'.
