Grad show work in progress: Spinning Wool.
Here is some wool I've started spinning for my grad show work as I'm generally over attached to my work as it is I've even started spinning some of my hair into it,my best friend let me test it out by giving me his hair after cutting it off.
Thanks for being a legend!

Let's do this.
After spending a fortune on new art supplies, I told myself I'd be disappointed if I didn't paint everyday.
Of course I haven't been...
But here a few very rough oil paint/ water colour sketches of what i'm working on for a very large collaboration with a dear friend of mine.
I'm trying to let go of what will now be my sixth year of art school, well text book technique and just focus on my "feelings" with a dash of psychoanalysis.

Grad show work in progress.
Big thanks to lovely lady #10 and Jason for saving the day.
As we all know grad show is pushing me to my limits of patience, sanity and over all health & well being.
Looking forward to editing this over the next few weeks.

Work in progress : Haywire Crain
Excuse the crazy colours & crappy compressed jpegs.
I'm trying to figure out what tones I dig best.
I had an absolutely amazing time on micro road trip 3.0 to Umina to meet/ shoot the amazing, Haywire Crain.
Being back at uni brings out the despondency in me, so at least editing these will make me happy.

Here are some mostly unedited shots taken at uni.
The first image is the ref. pic for a watercolour i'm working on to replace the spoon drawings in an upcoming show.

'At each repetition there is progress.'
This is a sample of the shots I've posted so far which will be sent for test printing.
I'm a tad excited with some help the backgrounds look relatively evenly lit considering what a task this has all been.
Not so excited that i'm racing the clock to get this in a tangible form.
Almost. there.

Gradshow work in process III:
The race against time is starting to get a little daunting, here's to hoping I can get enough brain power to get the essays out of the way and then get stuck into it.
