Three cheers for 2014.



This year has already gone off with a bang and i'm hardly adjusted from time away from home. 
Here's a photo of what i'm currently working on as my computer died so trip photos will follow in the next few weeks.
The glass tile pendants contain details of my grad show work of '13.
Alexis Panaretos is one of the four others collaborating with me for my first work out of art school, her copy of the book influencing this project arrived today.

Work in progress: Thesis (Swatches + Wool)

                         









Considering symbolism, emotions and how to condense 7000 words into two without further conversation.
Colour is one of the ways I'm trying to wrap my head around it all (literally).
 Abstracting, creating, destroying are a few of my favourite things so in case you were wondering why I have been asking a lot about colours lately that is why. 
Knitted bows,bracelets and necklaces are a way of me surveying colour choice of people and what it represents to them on an aesthetic, emotional, symbolic level then considering what role they play in my life and how it shapes my perception.
